Two different parts: There are three parts to an implant supported crown , the surgical part that is placed in the bone and can be considered as the root (fixture). The second part is the abutment portion of a tooth implant it lies at and above the gum line. Fixture and abutment need to have the same manufacturer. The third part is the dental prosthesis like the crown that is fabricated independently

Not related: the implant manufacturer only make titanium implants. The post or abutment is made by them also but u can have a custom abutment by a different company. Your dentist will make the crown for your implant and the dentist decides which lab will make the permanent crown for him not the implant manufacturer.this is a team approach your periodontist or oral surgeon surgically places the implant

Separate components: The fixture is that manufactured part of the implant that's embedded in and becomes fused with the jawbone. Once the fixture is in place, your dental professional fits the crown that's custom made by a dental laboratory.

Complex Question: Since many abutments are custom made after the implant is placed, they are not technically made by the implant manufacturer. Aftermarket implant parts may fit but may not have the quality control that the manufacturer's parts have. The crown is a separate issue and not implant company related. Each case is slightly different.

Not exactly: The crown can be milled from different materials according to the implant specifications. It can also be fabricated using an abutment or cylinder from the manufacturer or a clone of it from another manufacturer. I prefer to use the cylinder from the manufacturer and send it to the lab for their use. Many options as long as properly and carefully done by skilled technicians and Dentists. Good Luck.

No: Typically implant manufacturers only make implants and attachments (abutments, screws, etc). The crowns that attach to the implants and abutments are usually made by dental labs.
