Not usually,: There may be hearing loss in one ear. Causes vary. The easiest to treat is when the hearing loss is due to wax build-up, which is easily removed by a trained professional who diagnoses it after examination. Don't use Q-tips! Or stick anything else in your ears. "The only thing that should go in your ear is your elbow or a piano." See a doc to find out what's going on.
