ASK YOUR DR: This is a question that needs to be address b4 you have surg. I have to assume that your are considering some type of wt loss surg. Dumping syndrome may or may not cause wt loss. It is described by patients as a minor problem, but other patients as quite a problem. There is no way to predict how you will react as to having it, or to the serverity.
