Yes: Most women who are menstruating lean toward iron deficiency. Any Iron supplement should suffice. If combined with Vitamin C, iron absorption is about 90%. Without Vitamin C, iron absorption can be as low as 10%. Vitamin C also help avoid constipation, a frequent complaint from women on iron supplements.
