Possible: Vaginal tears can occur during intercourse, especially with size mismatch. Vaginal tears that are serious usually have heavier bleeding and can cause a significant amount of pain. If bleeding and/or pain increase, you should see a physician.

Not likely serious,: Not likely serious, and I would wait a few days. If you continue to shed blood, see a doctor for visual evaluation. Use a lubricant next time!
