Have been exercising but recently i have developed a dull pain on my shin and the muscle next to it. also have a small bruise? is this a blood clot?

No: By blood clot, I assume you mean the dangerous kind that breaks off and goes to the lungs. That does not present like this. However, the blood from a bruise clots also, it just doesn't have the same dangerous potential.
