Can diverticulitis have any cause to do with severe menstral cramps and missed periods?

Possible: Diverticulitis may be associated with abdominal cramps usually on one side of the abdomen but you may also have fever, chills, nausea, bloating and possible rectal bleed. Any infection in the body can cause missed periods and possibly menstrual cramps

An acute bout: of diverticulitis could lead to menstrual irregularities like a missed period but isn't likely to be a significant cause of more severe menstrual cramps; it could lead to severe abdominal pain independent of your menstrual cycle
