Pain medicine: You can take them together if you want. The hydrocodone you are taking is probably combined with acetaminophen. Don't take more than 3,000 mg of acetaminophen in a day or 3200 mg of ibuprofen in a day. Its best to stagger the drugs if possible to get the most effect out of your pain medicine regimen.
