Blood pressure: It isn't quite as simple as you put it because there are multiple variables involved. Pressure is related to flow and resistance, if the smaller arteries produce a higher resistance to the fixed flow then pressure will be higher. If you equate smaller arteries to higher resistance to flow, then you are more or less 'right.'
