Have had a soft painless lump in my right armpit for several years size of a golf ball a smaller in my left armpit. neither has changed size ?

LymphNode v cyst v ?: While it's rare for lymph nodes to stay swollen for a long time, it's not impossible. Typically they're pain if acute. There are many glands & cysts in the axilla which could explain lump. Perhaps a lipoma (painless benign fatty deposit) or ingrown hair (but these are typically painful). No change in size is good. But best to go see your Family Doc for evaluation, testing & treatment as appropriat
