A member asked:

Diagnosed with chf in er. ejection was 30%. but back to 51% after 2 days. one side of heart is thick. i'm 32 do i still have a rate of 5 to 10 years?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

CCF: The prognosis will depend on the specific cardiac diagnosis (your cardiologist should be able to delineate that for you), however, since the Ejection fraction has increased back to normal, it is very encouraging. Keep close follow up with your cardiologist and follow echocardiograms
