Check free T4 & TSH: Central hypothyroidism is much less common than primary hypothyroidism and is most often associated with disease in or near the pituitary. It is suspected when the free T 4 is low but TSH does not increase to compensate. However if the free T 4 is only slightly low it is more likely either a normal variant or a lab issue. Would need more info on your symptoms and test results to help you more
