Not FUO yet: Most of the time these symptoms mysteriously end up going away on their own and are ascribe to a viral illness. A week of low grade fevers and loss of appetite may be indicative of B symptoms and should be evaluated by a face-to-face visit with a doctor. The physical exam and basic blood tests can usually pretty quickly rule out the more worrisome causes.
