On the mend, or not?: The answer you receive changes based on whether your Nexium (esomeprazole) was prescribed empirically (e.g. based only on symptoms or educated guess), or whether you had testing that actually documented gastritis. FYI: there are a lot of things that mimick "gastritis" so if you still have symptoms despite symptom-directed therapy, then objective evaluation is warranted to get you on the correct treatment.
