Not reabsorbed: Creatinine is used to calculate glomerular filtration rates because the kidney does not reabsorb it: whatever gets filtered into the glomerulus ends up in the urine. So it is a reliable indicator of how much blood has been filtered. All you have to calculate is the volume of blood that contained the amount of creatinine that appeared in the urine over a certain time.
