Time will tell.: An injury can take up to 9 months to totally resolve. Scars take that much time to remodel. Give it more time to heal. If it is still a big problem, then you may be able to have a cosmetic procedure done by a plastic surgeon to minimize the appearance. Also, your rash for more than 2 months isn't normal either, & you need to stop putting valerian,etc., on it for a week & see MD if no better.
