Hi, i am almost 11 weeks pregnant and i have a severe toothache, my family doctor gave me antibiotics to treat it, but is it safe to take it 4x a day?

It depends : It depends on what the antibiotic is rather than how often you take it. There are a lot of antibiotics that are fine in pregnancy and, as long as your doctor knows that you are pregnant, you were most likely given one that is safe. Hope this helps. Best wishes to you and the baby

Antibiotics: Antibiotics provide only a temporary treatment. You need to see a dentist and have the toothache treated. Carrying an infection throughout your pregnancy is not healthy for you or the baby.
