I'm 5 days off of suboxone, still have restlessness but that's it, when will the restlessness go away? clonidine doesn't help what should i tell my dr

If...: If you feel extremely anxious there are other things they might treat you with. Vistaril (hydroxyzine) can be effective as well but you still would need to ask your prescriber what is their medication of preference when clonidine is not enough.

Need: To talk to your prescriber and counselor. Withdrawal is milder with Subaxone than Opiods but the underlying psychological dependence may still be present.

Tell your doc: Tell your doctor you're 5 days off of suboxone and still experiencing restlessness, not ameliorated by clonidine. There are other meds that might help. Suboxone is best tapered - did you do that? Perhaps the taper was too rapid? Good luck to you - stay with it.
