Not typically: numbness needs to be evaluated. While spasm decreases blood flow to muscle and occasionally surrounding tissue, any permanent injury remains rare. See a neurologist or PMR doc for full eval. It is also possible that your sexual position resulted in a pinched nerve, exclusive of the spasm.
