Yes: Benzonatate is the active ingredient in Tessalon. It works by numbing the throat and upper respiratory tree.There is no conflict.

To take only: guaifenesin ok with benzonatate. You do not need a dextromethorphan . Otherwise it would be to much cough suppressant you are taking.
