Slightly swollen area above/behind right ear. somewhat painful when pressure is applied. my glasses frames made me aware of the area. what could it be?

Several things: Preauricular and postauricular nodes are in this area and can swell secondary to reaction to regional infection. Skin infections such as pustules occur in this area related to plugged oil glands.Epidermal cysts are another possibility. If area becomes more painful or reddened could be infected and may need to consult physician.

Acne, lymph node: 2 likely candidates are a deep acne lesion or perhaps reactive lymph node. If it persists beyond a week, or gets worse, see an ENT doc for exam/suggestions.
