See doc, GUM clinic?: Without other symptoms (several lesions, soreness, blisters, etc), a single "red dot" is not likely an STD or scabies. Sex during menses doesn't increase risk of STD. OTOH, STDs are common in people with scabies. Also you chose topic tag "palm" and spots on palm could be syphilis. Since you're in the UK, your nearest NHS genitourinary medicine (GUM) clinic would be an excellent choice. Good luck.
