Rash, cough, diarrhe: It is difficult to treat & diagnose rashes without seeing them & he also has cough & diarrhea, yes he need to be checked, at the mean time keep him hydrated. no milk for 24 hrs, give pedialyte & baby rice cereal, saline nose drops to calm his cough until you see his doctor. Good luck.

Hard to say: Sounds like a minor virus with an final stage rash. It could be something more worrisome. The best gauge for going in is how they act.If the kid is feeding okay, playful and interactive, you might just monitor the situation.If the kid is refusing feeds, quiet, unhappy or withdrawn it would be good to have him seen.If your gut gives you a foreboding feeling, get him seen.
