Probably gall stones: Stones do not occur in the stomach although there are rarely concretions termed 'bezoar' which can cause stomach symptoms. She most likely has gall stones which typically cause the symptoms you describe. And these can commonly recur. There is good treatment for this which you family doctor can get her started on.
