2015 seasonal allergies are awful in nj and zyrtecd 5mg isnt helping me at all , should i bother with claritind or seek an allergy 'steroid' shot?

See below: Zyrtec D is stronger than Claritin D. Generally speaking if Claritin or Allegra are not helping allergists will often ask the patient to double the dose(plain anti-histamine with out the "D"). Flonase will often help nasal symptom. Visine-A will help allergic conjunctivitis. When the above are not helping a short course of corticosteroids can help. For more info go to http://bit.ly/1vIxPUk

Can try adding: a steroid nasal spray OTC. If not better see your doctor.
