Could be bone chip: after extractions there are often bits of bone that are rejected by the body and work their way out through the gums over time. If a piece is just under the surface it could make a sore spot. If it isn't a bone chip or bone spur something may be going on. Either way see your dentist to have it checked out. Good luck.
