Takes time: It takes time for the vaginal cuff to heal after hysterectomy. It is in a moist environment with abundact but normal bacteria. If the discharge is yellow, green or malodorous, or if you have a fever I would schedule an appt with the doctor that did your surgery. Otherwise be sure and get it checked at your post op appt.
