how long does it take for zyvox (linezolid) to work for prostatitis or staph? what other treatments are possible?

Takes time. : Zyvox (linezolid) is a good antibiotic but your problem with prostrate will require a few days to settle. Hopefully in 3 to 5 days. Other options for the treatment are similar other antibiotics which again will require some time.
