Take it for as long as the doctor prescribed it. Curing internal genital infections, like those involving semen or prostate, sometimes needs several weeks treatment, even if symptoms clear up sooner. Follow the instructions on the prescription label, or contact the doctor treating you. Good luck.

As with any antibiotic, you should take the entire course. Do not stop early, because they can breed resistance of the bacteria. Take it until your entire prescription has been used. If you have continued symptoms, see your doctor. Good luck.
