You may have: scarring from the PID. If successfully treated you would need to be re-infected for it to come back.

Pelvic adhesions?: PID can come back, but that's probably not the problem. More often, scarring (medical term adhesions) from PID can result in pelvic pain, often worse during sex. Usually this gets better over time, and eventually sex probably won't be painful. If it continues, sometimes laparoscopic surgery can treat adhesions. But don't take chances: see your gynecologist now for professional evaluaton.
