Precautions: Presumably you are supposed to get radioactive iodine (rai) and there is a pregnant woman in the family. There are guidelines which you will be given, and it depends on the dose. For about 5 days, you need to keep your distance from her, about 6 feet. As if you have the flu and don't want to spread it. Sleep in different bed.
