Common: Your symptoms are common following episodes of diarrhea. First stop taking Hydrocodone if possible, most likely worsening your constipation. Take as much as possible fluids.

Hydrocodone: The hydrocodone can cause constipation by decreasing gastric motility. If the diarrhea has resolved and the belly pain; back off the hydrocodone. Consider adding a fiber supplement if you need it. Have a low threshold for getting rechecked because constipation following diarrhea (if not related to medication effect alone) can be a concerning pattern. Keep your doctor updated.

Notorious: Hydrocodone is notorious for causing constipation. Are you still taking it? Once you stop taking it it can still take several days for some people to have a normal bowel movement on their own and some people still need help having one. You can use something like Miralax (polyethylene glycol) powder twice daily or sennoside (ExLax) pills to help get you going again if this doesn't happen within the next 2-3 days.
