Pap procrastination: PP, or Pap Procrastination is a "disease" that afflicts many women who often hear from "official sources" that they can wait and have a pap every 3 to 5 years. Since you had a "abnormal pap" in the first place that advice does not apply to you. Yes, it could be cancer so see a GYN MD without further delay which will at least cure the PP syndrome.

ABNORMAL PAP: Abnormal pep smears need close follow up. Often times it is caused by HPV, which can develop i to cervical cancer. See gyn consult ASAP
