Talk to your doctor : Your are on a hefty dose of Effexor (venlafaxine). Talk with your doctor before making any changes. I have seen some patients lose weight on their medicine. If you and your doctor determine that this is the maintenance dose required to manage your symptoms, then don't change. If your weight loss continues and poses a health risk, then you may need a dose adjustment or med change. Best wishes!
