Hi. when my 20 month baby cries/ screams he holds his head as if he is in pain. is this just an attention thing or should i take him to the doctors?

Attention vs pain?: Toddlers around a year will do a variety of odd behaviors to get your attention, however, if you feel like his head positioning is pain related, you are probably right. This could be teething, an ear ache, sore throat, or possibly something more serious. Definitely have him examined to sort it out! Best of luck and thanks for trusting healthtap!
