Left chest: Your physicians diagnosis may be correct as a musculoskeletal cause is likely. Another possibility is chronic tendonitis of the shoulder with radiation of discomfort to the pectoral musculature and occasionally down the arm.. Shoulder movements would usually localize the discomfort in that case. Consider consulting an orthopedic specialist for an opinion and advice.
