Hi.i was diagnosed a week ago by a dr. as having a viral syndrome.he said my throat was pale.prescribed amantadine and doxycycline.i don't feel better?

Viral syndrome: if you have not responded to an initial course of therapy you should go back and see your physician ASAP

Viral Syndrome: Let your physician know but would not anticipate that an antibiotic would make a significant impact on a viral infection.

Throat: Giving an antibiotic for a viral issue does not make sense. You may need to see your doctor and have a throat culture
