None: A Pap smear is done to look for any abnormal changes in cervical cells, to assess for early or pre-cancerous findings. STD testing is not typically done, but if you are concerned or have a suspicion that you may have been exposed then definitely talk to your doctor/gynecologist so that testing can be done.

Here are some ...: PAP smear is the routine procedure for screening and detecting cervical cancer following the updated protocol as professionally recommended. However, for those with HPV infection, PAP is even becoming more important since HPV is known to be associated with cervical cancer. So, do PAP smear more vigilantly & diligently than the average women if they have warts or exposure to it... Ask Doc timely.
