There are: Calcium oxalate type gall stones. You should find out why you had that free oxalate to begin with. It's usually displaced by calcium bound to free fatty acids that are malabsorbed. There are various dietary treatments you should discuss with your doctor.

No: Oxalate is typically found in kidney stones, not gallbladder stones. Gallstones are mainly composed of cholesterol and some pigments. If you have calcified gallstones, the gallbladder needs to be removed. Calcified gallstones are a risk factor for cancer of the gallbladder, which is a very bad cancer to have
