Not drugs alone: Consider psychotherapy in addition to your meds. Drugs alone are often not sufficient to control generalized anxiety. Cognitive behavioral therapy can work well with your meds to get your anxiety under control. If none of the drugs you have tried are helping you, you may need to taper off them with your doctor's assistance. All drugs have side effects.
