Support: Standing up to an abusive parent will take a lot of strength and support. Especially if you have strong anxiety and depression you should be seeking the help of a trained therapist who can help you with the depression and anxiety, and also help you with ways to confront or detach from your abusive parent. When a parent is abusive it causes trauma which leads to depression and anxiety.
