Kegel exercises: If done properly, the so-called kegel exercises can help strengthen some of the muscles in the area. Learning about them from a magazine, a friend, an unregulated website is not the best approach. Seeing a gynecologist or urogynecologist is worth the effort to learn how and how often to do them.

Biofeedback: If not feeling like your getting anywhere with the kegels, biofeedback can be used to help augment your response. Sometimes reconstructive surgery if the tissue is particularly gaping, may be in order.

Kegel Exercise: Kegel exercises are the best way to stregnthen and sometimes tighten your pelvic floor. You can learn how to perform this properly with your gynecologist or pelvic physical therapist. In addition, a non traditional method would be to utilize vaginal beads.

Not needed : I can imagine a scenario where this would be a needed treatment for an 18 year old. Schedule a visit for an exam and to discuss your concerns.

Options: Exercising your vaginal/pelvic muscles is a good place to start. One non-surgical option is ThermiVa and this can be done in the office with no recovery. Surgery is always an option also so speak with a specialist if you decide on such.
