I am not 100% sure but i think i was bitten by a "kissing" bug. what are chances of chagas' disease? i live in louisiana.

Chagas : not enough known to give accurate predictions. Chagas is rare in the U.S. So probability has to be low .

Uncertain: There are currently about 300,000 people in the US who have had Chagas Disease but most are old cases and are in people who became infected when they were in endemic areas - not the US. There have been cases reported in Louisiana. I believe the risk would be low overall.
