I'm experiencing sharp shooting pain on the right side of my head behind my ear. no relief with exedrin taken an hour and a half ago. what can i do?

Occipital neuralgia?: You may be experiencing occipital neuralgia on right side of scalp. Excedrin will provide no benefit in this situation, but local occipital nerve block may help. Alternatively, drugs such as gabapentin, Grailse, or Lyrica (pregabalin) might be useful. See your physician and get this further evaluated.
