Occipital neuralgia?: You may be experiencing occipital neuralgia on right side of scalp. Excedrin will provide no benefit in this situation, but local occipital nerve block may help. Alternatively, drugs such as gabapentin, Grailse, or Lyrica (pregabalin) might be useful. See your physician and get this further evaluated.
