Yes: If you child is allergic to mold, it can make him/her sick with respiratory symptoms of congestion, cough and sometimes wheezing. There are also some types of molds (such as black mold) that can make anyone ill. Those types of molds may require special remediation by a specialized company to safely remove the mold. You should discuss your concerns further with the pediatrician.
