A member asked:

I had a uterine ablation 8 years ago and now i am pregnant at 40 years old. what should i do?

See your OB MD: You need to go see your OB MD and elect to retain or terminate your existing pregnancy. Unfortunately, endometrial ablations do not always work to eliminate ALL of the endometrium to prevent implantation and pregnancy as your case points out. In the future you will need permanent contraception if you do not desire any further pregnancies.
