Keep it active: Read, discuss, work puzzles, learn new information, solve problems. Eat a healthy diet, maintain a healthy weight. Exercise. Don't smoke. Knowledge: Nutritionally the brain will take care of itself. The best thing you can do for your brain is to exercise it. Get as much education as you can, read prodigiously, engage in activities that will help the brain like games requiring thought (chess for instance). This is the best way to take care of your brain.
