No: There are many patterns of inheritance, and exactly which family member gets a disorder is also a matter of luck. Sometimes, a disorder affects about 1/2 of the offspring; other times a disorder affects about 1/4 of the offspring. Some disorders affect boys; other disorders affect girls. Sometimes parents carry the genes for a disorder, but their children luck out and don't inherit the bad genes.
