Not a good idea: I don't know how tall you are at age of 16 and your weight of 110 is not too much and loosing 10 lbs is not going to make you a better football player You should work out and build some muscles and also endurance.Get the help of a trainor of possible.You may still be growing.And eat properly with more sources of protein
