Medical Marijuana: Discuss this w/ your oncologist. It is a common side effect and they'll have possible remedies for your specific chemo that will be safe for you. It's a reason we are seeing more States allow pot for this purpose. It often works very well. Best wishes!

Appetite: Consider consulting a UK doctor here on HealthTap for what is available in the UK, but in the US I commonly prescribe an antidepressant called Remeron (mirtazapine) as an appetite stimulant for elderly patients and those on chemotherapy. As I practice in California where medicinal marijuana is legal, some patients use this as well, however I cannot speak to how effective this is.
